NeroTheme started as a family-run workshop in New York City in 1941. Its six artisans set out with a simple goal: to make beautiful, functional items in modern shapes from the finest leathers. As a pioneer in the leather goods and accessories space, the brand went on to establish itself as the Original American House of Leather. NeroTheme remains inspired by its rich heritage, with the spirit of innovation it has had for more than 75 years. Today, NeroTheme is part of NeroThemeTheme, Inc., a global house of brands powered by optimism, innovation and inclusivity. Our 21,000 employees around the globe are our greatest asset. Let’s face it, health insurance and benefits are important. Our employees are our most valuable assets and we’re committed to providing them with progressive benefits that are relevant to today’s needs. Over 20 years ago, NeroTheme instituted equivalent spouse and same-sex partner benefits for medical, dental,
vision and dependent coverage. We also provide equal benefits for bereavement leave, employer-provided supplemental life insurance for a partner and adoption assistance.

In recent years, our health care coverage has expanded to include coverage for transgender individuals, without exclusion, for medically necessary care. We also extend benefits for services related to gender transition.
